Subtle sizzle of romance
Fragranced the summer breeze
As it swept those stony streets
Abuzz from wine cafes
And easy conversation
Copper skin beauties stride
Clean faces and exotic green eyes
And full skirts riding wide handled basket bikes
To meet their thick browed beaus
For a barefoot stroll in the grass
And I wore my target scarf
to try and blend in
While twinkly lights
warmed the night
